DescriptionMedium thick glass. A few small bubbles. Blowing spirals.
Transparent dark greenish yellow (between 10 Y 6/6 and 10 Y 5/4). Translucent similarly colored handle and coils.
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 2.2 cm in diameter. Added coil. Excess glass at tip of handle folded back on top of rim loop. Toolmark on interior of handle.
Flaring circular mouth; rim rounded in flame. Concave neck with smooth transition to shoulder. Shoulder strongly sloped. Piriform body. Pushed-in hollow tubular base ring. Straight ribbon handle with four wide ribs applied to shoulder and attached to rim where it was folded downward against the side of the rim and back upward to form a closed loop.

CLASSIFICATION: Jug Class IA2a with ribbed strap handle IIB2a.
