DescriptionMedium thin glass. Numerous pinprick bubbles. A few black specks. Blowing spirals.
Transparent natural pale yellowish green (10 GY 7/2). Translucent light olive handle and coils (near 10 Y 5/4).
Body blown into a vertically ribbed mold and expanded. Neck and mouth free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.75 cm in diameter. Added coils. Excess glass at tip of handle. Round toolmark on inside of handle where it was bent inward.
Flaring circular mouth; rim rounded in flame. Tall cylindrical neck with curved transition to shoulder. Strongly sloped shoulder. Oval body with greatest diameter below midpoint. Pushed-in base with low, tooled kick and hollow tubular base ring. Straight plain coil handle applied to shoulder and attached to rim where it was pressed downward against the side of the rim and back upward.
Rim coil and neck coil from left to right. Mold-blown decoration of 41 vertical ribs.
