DescriptionThis glass jug from the fourth century CE was made by blowing and shaping glass by hand. It has a round, bulbous body and a narrow neck. A coil of glass decorates the neck, and the handle was added separately and shaped to include a small thumbrest at the top. The surface shows faint indentations and black specks, signs of the original crafting process.
