DescriptionMedium thick glass. Good quality with few bubbles. Black specks in handle.
Transparent dusky yellow green (5 GY 5/2). Translucent similarly colored handle and coils.
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.9 cm in diameter. Added coils. Excess glass at tip of handle cut off. Two large unintentional indentations in glass below handle must have occurred during blowing or annealing.
Trefoil mouth; rim rounded in flame. Tall slightly tapering neck with curved transition to shoulder. Slightly sloping shoulder. Inverted piriform body. Wound coil base with concave sides formed by a three-fold swirled trail starting from center and flattened inside and outside. Straight strap handle with four ribs applied to shoulder and attached to side of undermouth where it is folded down to form a closed loop against the side of the mouth.
