DescriptionMedium thick glass. Pinprick and tiny vertically elongated bubbles in body and neck; a few tiny black specks, especially in handle; blowing spirals.
Transparent natural pale green (5 G 7/2). Translucent similarly colored handle, base ring, and coil.
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 2.0 cm in diameter. Added coil and base. Excess glass at top of handle folded back into loop at rim.
Flaring circular mouth; rim rounded in flame. Concave neck with curved transition to shoulder. Sloping shoulder. Inverted piriform body with concave sides. Coil base wound in one and a half spirals and flattened. Narrow straight plain strap handle applied to shoulder and attached to side of mouth and rim where it was folded up and down to form a large closed complex loop projecting inward above rim.
