DescriptionThick glass. A few small bubbles. Black specks in handle and coil.
Transparent natural grayish green (near 10 GY 5/2). Translucent similarly colored handle and coils.
Free-blown. Ring pontil mark ca. 3.0 cm in diameter. Added coils. Excess glass at tip of handle folded back into loop at rim. Flat toolmark on interior of handle where it is bent inward.
Flaring circular mouth; rim rounded in flame. Slightly tapering neck with curved transition to shoulder. Sloping shoulder. Piriform body. Pushed-in base with low, tooled kick and hollow tubular base ring. Strap handle with seven ribs applied to shoulder and attached to rim where it was folded downward against the side of the rim and back upward to form a closed loop.
