DescriptionMedium thin heavy glass. A few small vertically elongated bubbles. A few black specks in handle. Blowing spirals.
Free blown and tooled.
Transparent to translucent streaky manganese colored grayish red (near 5 R 4/2). Translucent pale olive handle and coils (near 10 Y 6/2).
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.4 cm in diameter. Added coils.
Flaring circular mouth; rim rounded in flame. Tapering neck continuing into body without clear transition. Sharply sloped shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter at its midpoint with concave sides below. Open pushed-in base. Straight plain coil handle applied to midpoint of body and attached to rim where it was folded horizontally out, then back down against the side of the mouth and out to form a Z with a closed loop at both angles.
