DescriptionMedium thin glass. A few medium-sized bubbles. Tiny black specks; more black specks in handle.
Transparent natural light olive (near 10 Y 5/4). Similarly colored coils. Handle translucent greenish yellow.
Body blown into a vertically ribbed and grooved mold and slightly expanded. Neck and mouth free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.2 cm in diameter. Added coils. Excess glass at tip of handle folded back into loop at rim.
Trefoil mouth; rim rounded in flame. Cylindrical neck with curved transition to shoulder. Horizontal shoulder with bulge above rim of mold. Squat conical body with concave sides. Concave base. Straight plain coil handle applied to shoulder and attached to rim where it was folded down to form a closed loop against the underside of the mouth.
Rim coil and neck coil from left to right. Rim coil with decorative triangular buckle at point of application; neck coil possibly the same, but now lost. On body, from below shoulder to edge of base, 32 expanded vertical corrugations.
