DescriptionThis jug is made of free-blown and tooled glass that is transparent natural pale green (near 5 G 7/2), with a translucent pale green handle and coils. The body was blown into a vertically ribbed and grooved mold, then twisted and expanded, while the neck and trefoil mouth were free-blown. It has a medium thin fabric that cannot be determined due to weathering and retains a pontil mark about 1.45 cm in diameter. The trefoil mouth has a rim rounded in flame, leading to a short cylindrical neck that transitions smoothly into the conical body without a distinct shoulder. The base is concave. A straight, plain, irregularly shaped coil handle is attached to the shoulder and the top of the rim, folded down to form a closed loop against the underside of the mouth. A rim coil and neck coil run from left to right, and the body shows indistinct expanded corrugations from the mold. This vessel is classified as a Jug Class IB1a with a coil handle IA2a.
