DescriptionThis bowl on a base ring is made of medium thin, transparent decolored glass with a pale olive tinge (10 Y 6/2). Small bubbles are visible in the glass. The vessel was free-blown with no pontil mark and has an added glass thread below the rim on the exterior. The rim is horizontally outsplayed, rounded, and slightly thickened in the flame. The straight sides taper slightly downward and join the base at an obtuse angle. The bottom is sunken with a flat base and a true base ring with outsplayed sides.
