DescriptionMedium thin glass. Fabric cannot be determined because of weathering. The glass is transparent natural pale green (10 G 6/2) with a similarly colored thread. It is free-blown with a pontil mark about 0.8 cm in diameter and an added thread. The widely outsplayed rim is rounded in flame. The sides are straight with a slight downward taper. The round base has a true base ring with an interior bulge in the bottom of the cup where it was pushed onto the base ring. A glass thread is applied about 1.2 cm below the rim. This vessel belongs to Isings 1957, Form 87, a variation with a true base ring.
