DescriptionThis straight-sided bowl is made of medium thick glass that cannot be fully assessed due to weathering. The glass is transparent with a natural grayish yellow green tint (5 GY 7/2). A similarly colored coil decorates the rim. The vessel is free-blown with a pontil mark about 1.1 cm in diameter, with an added coil and tooled details. The rim is bent out horizontally, rounded and thickened in the flame, then pinched and pulled to create fifteen distinct scallops. The straight sides taper slightly toward a flattened base with a true base ring. A coil runs along the underside of the rim.
