DescriptionMedium thick heavy glass. Good quality. A few small bubbles. Cords in upper part of body.
Light olive (near 10 Y 5/4 but more yellow). Light olive thread (10 Y 5/4).
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.5 cm. Added thread.
Rim rounded and thickened in flame. Cylindrical body with slightly concave sides. Pad base with flat underside and low solid knob on interior.
Single revolution of thin thread ca. 3.4 cm below rim, not entirely circling vessel.
CLASSIFICATION: Barag 1970, beakers type 4, 6-10 (variation with flat base).
