DescriptionThis cylindrical beaker on a base ring is made from medium thin, transparent natural green glass; the exact color cannot be determined because of weathering. A similarly colored handle or thread is applied about 3.5 cm below the rim. The vessel is free-blown with visible blowing spirals and a pontil mark measuring about 1.3 cm. The rim is crooked, rounded, and slightly thickened in flame. The cylindrical body has slightly concave sides, and the pad base is flat on the underside with a low solid knob on the interior. A single revolution of thin thread encircles the body below the rim. The form corresponds to Barag 1970, beakers type 4, 6–10 (variation with flat base).
