DescriptionThis small carinated bowl is made of transparent natural green glass, though the precise tint is obscured by weathering. The vessel was free-blown and tooled. It features an everted rim that has been lightly ground, and a sharply carinated body with its widest diameter near the base. The base is flat. This example corresponds to Vessberg's Beakers A II 2 and is a variation of Isings Form 96 A.
