DescriptionThis tall calyx-shaped beaker on foot is made of medium thin glass with visible blowing spirals, pinprick bubbles, and black specks. The glass is transparent grayish-green (10 GY 5/2) with a similarly colored applied thread. The vessel was free-blown and has a pontil mark approximately 1.3 cm wide. The rim is rounded and thickened in the flame. The body is calyx-shaped with slightly flaring sides, tapering to a high pushed-in domed base with a hollow tubular base ring. An added thread runs from left to right around the neck approximately 3.8 cm below the rim.
