DescriptionThis tall calyx-shaped beaker on foot is made of medium thin glass with a few pinprick bubbles and black specks, along with visible cords in the upper part of the body. The glass is transparent pale green (near 5 G 7/2) with a grayish blue-green thread (near 5 BG 5/2). The vessel was free-blown with a pontil mark approximately 1.0 cm wide and a reamer mark underneath. The rim is rounded and thickened in the flame. The inverted conical body sits on a high pushed-in domed base with a hollow tubular base ring. Around the center of the body, five revolutions of thin spiral thread are applied.
