DescriptionThis bag-shaped beaker on foot is made of medium thin glass with a few small bubbles elongated in the direction of the blowing spirals. The glass is transparent natural pale green (10 G 6/2) with a similarly colored applied thread. The vessel is free-blown with a pontil mark approximately 0.95 cm wide. The everted rim is rounded and thickened in the flame. The tall bag-shaped body sits on a wound base coil pinched flat to resemble a true base ring, with a crisscrossing imprint of tool marks visible on both the exterior and interior surfaces. A thin thread is applied around the neck, spiraling from left to right about 1.5 cm below the rim, with a melted irregular buckle at the point of attachment.
