DescriptionThis plate is made of medium-thick glass in a transparent natural grayish-green hue (10 GY 5/2). A few small horizontally elongated bubbles are visible in the glass. The vessel was shaped by free-blowing and tooling, with no pontil mark present.
The rim is rounded in the flame. The convex sides of the body meet the bottom at an obtuse angle. The bottom is slightly concave and slopes downward to the base ring, which is flat. The true base ring is outsplayed with faint diagonal impressions. A solid ridge is present on the exterior just below the rim, possibly folded and then pushed into the wall and flattened.
