It is made from thick glass that is transparent to translucent pale olive (10 Y 6/2), with a few small spherical bubbles visible. The bowl has a flaring rim that is ground, hemispherical sides, and a round base. The interior is fire polished with horizontal polishing marks near the rim and random polishing marks on the rest of the surface. A 1.0 cm wide shallow wheel-cut groove encircles the exterior about 1.7 cm below the rim.
