DescriptionThis is a small carinated bowl made of opaque red glass. It was mold-fused and abraded. The bowl has an uneven, upright rim with a rounded edge. The carinated side includes a vestigial upper curve and a shallow convex lower curve. The upperside of the floor is slightly concave, while the underside is flat but uneven. It has a narrow, almost vertical base ring with a rounded edge. On the interior, three narrow horizontal grooves are cut: one immediately below the edge of the rim, a second below the junction of the two convex curves, and a third farther down on the body. On the exterior, there is a narrow horizontal groove cut just below the edge of the rim.
