DescriptionThis small hemispherical bowl was assembled using the mosaic glass technique and mold fused and abraded. It has an upright rim with an uneven, rounded edge, a convex curving side, and a convex bottom. The composite mosaic pattern is formed from large polygonal sections of three canes: the first in a blue ground with numerous opaque white rods; the second in a pale purple ground with opaque white rods and streaks; and the third in a yellow ground streaked with pale blue, appearing pale green in places.
