BiographyMitsuhirō 光廣 (Ōhara Mitsuhirō 大原光廣), 1810-1875. At seventeen, he went to Osaka and was apprenticed to a shop making plectrums for the shamisen. Learned carving by using ivory waste. He became a master in ivory carving. Was in poor health most of his life. Used six variations of kakihan in his signature.
