DescriptionTranslucent olive-green appearing glossy opaque black (not in rock color chart).
Rod-tooled and indented to create ribs. A blob of glass applied to one side of lower body and base during manufacturing process in order to cover up a thin spot or hole. Very thick bubbly glass. Several bubbles burst at surface. Elongated bubbles in direction of ribs, slanting slightly to upper left.
Lobed rim rounded in flame. Crimped neck. Sloping shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter at shoulder. Round base.
On body from bottom right to top left, ten thick curving ribs continuing onto rim where they reverse direction and form lobes.
CLASSIFICATION: Rod-tooled I B 2 a.
