DescriptionAppearing glossy opaque black (color difficult to determine because of thickness of glass). Rod-tooled. Excess glass at tips of handles snapped off and melted into surfaces. Very thick glass. Several medium and one large bubble burst at surface. Oval bubbles in horizontal direction but slanting slightly from top left to lower right. Rim rounded in flame. Crimped neck. Gently sloping shoulder. Inverted conical body. Small non-functional disk-shaped knob at base. Vessel cannot stand. Two curved coil handles applied to side of shoulder and attached to side of rim where they are folded upward and pinched to form vertical projections. CLASSIFICATION: I A 1 b.
