DescriptionTranslucent olive-green appearing opaque glossy black (not in rock color chart). Opaque grayish red (near 10 R 4/2) thread.
Rod-tooled. Added thread. Very thick glass. Numerous small spherical bubbles, many burst at surface.
Rim rounded in flame. Crimped neck. Gently sloping shoulder. Ovoid body. Small non-functional disk-shaped knob at base. Vessel cannot stand. Two curved coil handles applied to side of rim and attached to shoulder.
Around middle of body, a zigzag thread with thirteen points in either direction melted into the surface but not marvered.
CLASSIFICATION: Rod tooled. I A 1 b.
