DescriptionVery thick glass with many small spherical bubbles. Opaque dark brown body and handles; opaque white decoration; thick rim; two handles (with thumbrest) extend from rim to shoulder; spherical body; shoulder decorated with applied white zig-zag thread.
Appearing glossy opaque black (color difficult to determine because of the thickness of glass). Opaque to translucent white thread.
Rod-tooled. Added thread. Excess glass at tips of handles melted into handle.
Rim rounded and thickened in flame. Crimped neck. Horizontal shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter near shoulder. Round base. Two flattened angular coil handles applied to shoulder and attached to side of rim where they are folded upward and pinched to form vertical projections.
Around shoulder, a zigzag with 21 points in either direction.
