DescriptionVery thick bubbly glass, bubbles elongated diagonally in direction of ribs.
Translucent glossy vivid blue green. Similarly colored handles, base, and coil.
Rod-tooled and twisted. Excess glass at tips of handles melted into handles.
Rim edged with coil to cover irregularities. Constriction ca. 1.5 cm below rim. Tubular body tapering downward. Small non-functional knob-shaped base. Vessel cannot stand. Two curved coil handles applied below constriction and attached to edge of rim.
Rim coil covers edge of rim. Constriction at ca. 1.4 cm below top of rim coil. On body, ca. eight irregularly twisted ribs spiral from lower right to top left, beginning ca. 1.7 cm above base and reversing direction above constriction below rim; spirals tighter toward base.
Glass; formed on a core or metal rod, applied handles and rim.
