DescriptionBlack female figure with elaborate braided coiffure and patterned dress
positioned in a seated, rear, three-quarter view pose atop a carpet of
archival images. The subject is centered between a radiator in the upper
left corner and a coffee table stacked with cups, bowls, plates, and a
vibrant blue lantern in the lower right corner. The subject rests in a
relaxed fetal-like position with knees drawn to her chest, arms clasped
around her legs, and her ankles crossed.
