DescriptionThis plaque fragment in opaque white glass over a stippled cobalt blue ground shows the nude torso of a female figure in profile, leaning back to the right with her elbow supported on an object. Her back and arms are draped. She has idealized facial features and wears her wavy hair braided and bound in a fillet or wreath, with tendrils falling down the back of her neck. A dashed border is preserved above the head. The fragment is chipped along the broken edges.
