DescriptionEntire piece pressed, probably upright, in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the pattern of an ellipse-and-circle design that formed the under edge of the hexagonal bowl, standard, and base by a plain male plunger that formed the hollow interior of the bowl, in conjunction with a second male plunger, or plug, that formed the hollow interior of the base. Rim reheated and crimped to form the goffered lip. No evident pontil mark.
