DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with a slightly greenish tinge.
Compote: entire piece pressed, probably upright, in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the so-called Cape Cod pattern, consisting of three vignettes (two scenic views of mountains and one view of water and sailboats, surrounded by sprays of ivy on a stippled ground), with a plain male plug that formed the hollow interior of the base, with a cap ring that formed the upper surface of the rim, by a plain male plunger. Upper surface of foot ribbed in the female mold. Cover: pressed upside down in a one-piece female mold bearing a pattern of three vignettes similar to those on the bowl, in conjunction with a three-piece female mold that formed the finial, by a plain male plunger.
