DescriptionEntire piece pressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections, each section bearing two vertical rows of the block-and-printie pattern, by a plain male plunger that formed the hollow interior of the bowl, in conjunction with a plain male plunger, or plug, that formed the hollow interior of the base. The moldmarks extend from the underside of the foot to the rim. Rim reheated, tooled, and crimped to form the gauffered rim. No pontil mark. Underside of base ground and polished.
