Joined by a wafer to a hexagonal standard and base. Standard and base pressed upside down in a female mold of two vertical sections bearing the pattern by a plain male plunger that formed the hollow interior of the conical and cylindrical base and the underside and upward tapering edge of the hexagonal foot. Intermittent pontil scars around the inner edge of the base. Pewter collar machined and threaded.
