DescriptionOctagonal font and short octagonal stem pressed, probably in a one-piece female mold, in conjunction with a plain one-piece cylindrical mold from which the domed top and lip for the collar were formed by reheating and tooling, by the Magoun patent method, by a plain male plunger. Joined by a wafer to a short hexagonal stem and base. Standard and base pressed upside down in a female mold of two vertical sections by a plain male plunger, in the same manner as that used for 1965.61 and 1965.34 but probably in a different mold. Slight evidence of pontil mark on outer edge of base. Brass collar machined and threaded.
