DescriptionMedium thin glass. Pinprick and small bubbles.
Transparent natural grayish yellow green tint (near 5 GY 7/2). Exact color cannot be determined because of weathering.
Free-blown. No pontil mark. Pinched ribs.
Rim rounded and thickened in flame with narrow projecting roll below. Tall concave neck with curved transition to shoulder. Horizontal shoulder. Squat bulbous body with greatest diameter above midpoint. Flat base with depression in center.
Twelve irregularly spaced pinched ribs from top of shoulder to below midpoint of body; ribs can be felt as bulges on interior.
CLASSIFICATION: Jar Class IA7a.
