DescriptionMedium thick glass. A few small vertically elongated bubbles.
Purple; cylindrical body decorated with vertical and diagonal ribbing created by inserting a gather of hot glass into a mold; removing it, twisting it, reinserting it in the mold and blowing again.
Transparent to translucent manganese colored glass.
Body twice blown into a vertically grooved and ribbed pattern mold, the first time to form diagonal ribs by twisting, the second time to form the vertical ribs. The diagonal ribs cannot be felt on the interior. Neck and mouth free-blown. Cut-out below rim. Circular scar on base ca. 1.4 cm in diameter.
Collar rim, rounded in flame with external projecting roll. Slightly flaring neck with tool mark at its base. Vertical shoulder with pronounced bulge resembling an external projecting roll. Cylindrical body. Base flattened with depression in center.
On body, 24 vertical ribs alternating with grooves reaching from just below shoulder to base, superimposed over 24 diagonal ribs (from top left to bottom right) reaching from middle of shoulder bulge to 0.7 cm above base.
