DescriptionMedium thin glass. Bubbles vary from pinprick to large (ca. 2.7 cm) in body from top left to lower right, in neck from lower left to top right. Blowing spirals. Transparent pale green (5 G 7/2). Body twice blown into a vertically ribbed and grooved pattern mold, the first time to form diagonal ribs by twisting, the second time to form the vertical ribs. Neck and mouth free-blown. No pontil mark. Cutout below rim. Collar rim outsplayed at a 45-degree angle, rounded in flame with an open, external projecting roll below. Tall tubular neck with bulge above constriction at its base. Horizontal shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter near base. Flat base. On body, basket weave pattern consisting of twenty-four vertical ribs alternating with flutes reaching from just below shoulder to edge of base, superimposed over twenty-four diagonal ribs (from top left to bottom right), reaching from just below shoulder to ca. 1.5 cm above base.
