DescriptionThis small glass bottle was made in the 3rd or 4th century CE using free-blowing, a method where molten glass is shaped by blowing air through a tube. The glass is thin and worn from age, possibly once clear. The bottle has a flaring mouth with folded edges and a rounded, compact body. At the bottom, there is a pushed-in base and a small lump of glass, a result of the handmade process.
