DescriptionThis dark blue bottle from the 3rd–4th century CE is made of thin, hand-shaped glass. It has a small chimney-shaped mouth, a long neck that narrows downward, and a round body with a gently sunken base. A tiny blue lump of glass sticks out near the bottom. The glass contains fine air bubbles and shows no trace of where it was detached from the blowing rod.
