DescriptionThis small glass bottle from the 2nd or 3rd century CE was made by blowing and shaping hot glass. Its square shape was achieved by pressing the sides flat, and a shallow round dent was added to each side using a tool. The rim has multiple folds, and the neck narrows slightly toward the base. The glass is a transparent grayish-red color and contains tiny bubbles.
