DescriptionThis slender beaker from the 2nd–3rd century CE is made of pale green glass and stands on a tubular base ring. Its sides flare out and then taper in toward the bottom. A narrow thread of glass encircles the upper body just below the rim, and a circular scar at the base shows where it was detached from the glassmaker’s rod.
