DescriptionThis squat cylindrical jar was made by free-blowing and tooling thin glass. The fabric cannot be determined because of weathering. The glass is transparent yellowish-gray (near 5 Y 7/2). Numerous horizontally elongated bubbles are visible in the rim. There is a pontil mark about 0.7 cm wide, over a reamer mark. The rim is rounded and thickened in the flame with a tool mark visible on the interior. The funnel neck has a curved transition to the sloping shoulder. The squat cylindrical body has slightly concave walls. The base is concave with a kick.
