DescriptionThis bulbous jar was made by free-blowing and tooling thin glass. Blowing spirals are visible. The fabric cannot be determined because of weathering. The glass is transparent and decolored with a slight yellowish gray tinge (5 Y 7/2). There is no pontil mark. The flaring rim is rounded and thickened in the flame. The short concave neck has a curved transition to the sloping shoulder. The bulbous body has its greatest diameter at the middle. The base is concave.
