William Lemke

BiographyWilliam Lemke is a contemporary American landscape photographer whose skillfully printed images of the natural world follow the tradition of Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, and Group f/64. Lemke studied photography at the Milwaukee Area Technical College and taught as an assistant instructor at the Friends of Photography Workshop in Carmel,
California.

His works can be found in public and private collections throughout the United States, including the University of Michigan Museum of Art, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and the Wustum Museum of Fine Art in Racine. He is represented by Abel Contemporary in Paoli, WI; Liss Gallery in Toronto; J. Jeffrey Taylor Gallery in Fish Creek, WI; and Nest Gallery in Sheboygan, WI.
