American, born 1952
BiographySherrie Wolf (b. 1952) received a BFA in painting from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland (1974) and a MA in printmaking from the Chelsea College of Art in London (1975). She was honored with her first solo exhibition in 1977 at the Fountain Gallery of Art (Portland, OR), and recently was the focus of a solo show at the Long Beach Museum of Art, CA (2014). Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions at galleries and institutions such as the Portland Art Museum, OR; Tacoma Art Museum, WA; Arnot Art Museum, NY; Dallas Women’s Museum, TX; China National Academy of Art, Hangzhou; and San Jose Museum of Art, CA.

Wolf’s prints and paintings can be found in public and private collections throughout the United States including the Portland Art Museum, OR; Long Beach Museum of Art, CA; Cleveland Museum of Art, OH; Hallie Ford Museum of Art, OR; and the Arizona State University Art Museum, AZ. She is represented by Russo Lee Gallery (Portland, OR), Arden Gallery (Boston, MA), and Woodside/Braseth Gallery (Seattle, WA).
