Label TextExcavated in 1922 by the Egypt Exploration Society at Akhetaten (modern Amarna), this clay mold was part of a group used in the manufacture of small objects and ornaments. It was distributed to the Toledo Museum of Art as part of the EES’s official division of archaeological finds from that excavation season.
