Label TextThis clay mold depicting the head of the goddess Hathor was excavated in 1922 at Akhetaten (modern Amarna) by the Egypt Exploration Society. It was part of a group of molds used to cast ornaments and amulets. The object was distributed to the Toledo Museum of Art in that year’s formal division of finds.
