DescriptionMarbled mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of a single cane in a purple ground with numerous opaque white rods.
DESCRIPTION Fragment of stemmed base of large bowl or other vessel. Low, convex curving base with rounded edge; underside of base concave; vestiges of a stem or disk-shaped knob.
TECHNIQUE Assembled from sections of cane and cast; rotary-polished on both surfaces.
