DESCRIPTION Fragment of stemmed base of large bowl or other vessel. Straight-sided outsplayed base, proceeding diagonally downward to a rounded edge; underside of base concave; above the base, a rounded disk-shaped knob. On the exterior, a horizontal groove cut below the knob.
TECHNIQUE Assembled from sections of cane and cast; rotary-polished on both surfaces; cut on exterior.
